Payment failed?
Why was my payment declined?
A subscription payment can fail for a few common reasons — most of them relate to your payment method, not to AlphaSet:
- Insufficient funds on the card/wallet, or a limit reached.
- Bank declined the transaction (international or online payments blocked, extra verification needed).
- Incorrect card details (card number, expiry, CVV, or a billing address that doesn't match).
- OTP / 3-D Secure verification required but not completed.
- Correct amount but still not recorded: sometimes confirmation needs a little extra processing time. Wait and recheck the status before retrying.

How to retry
- Go to Plans & Billing on your dashboard.
- Recheck that your payment details are correct and you have sufficient funds.
- Complete any OTP / 3-D Secure step your bank requires.
- Tap Retry.
Note: pay only the exact amount shown for the plan. If you're charged more than once, or money is taken but the subscription doesn't activate, don't worry — contact support and we'll reconcile and refund if needed.
Change your payment method
If retrying still fails, switch to a different method under Plans & Billing, then pay again. If one card is repeatedly declined, it's usually on the issuing bank's side — you can contact your bank to enable online/international transactions.
What happens after a successful payment?
Once payment is recorded, your subscription activates and the Quant Engine starts within ~24 hours (see [[trading-not-started]]). Reminders:
- No free trial — you must pay to use the product.
- Your first monthly signup gets a 37-day bonus (30 + 7). For how billing works, see [[billing-and-payment]].
When should I contact support?
- You were charged but the subscription didn't activate.
- You were charged multiple times for one plan.
- Payment keeps failing even though your details are correct.
When you message support, include the payment method, amount, timestamp, and a screenshot of the error. See [[contact-support]].
