Delete account

Deleting your account removes your data from AlphaSet securely. Before deleting, complete a few prep steps so everything is clean.

Before you delete — what to do

1. Check active subscriptions. Cancel any running subscription in your billing settings before deleting the account. An uncanceled subscription keeps charging automatically until canceled.
2. Disconnect your exchange. If you have a connected exchange API (BingX) or SACO trading authorization (DNSE), disconnect/revoke it first. This stops the Quant Engine immediately and ensures no access remains after deletion.

Account deletion steps

1. Start from the app. Log in to AlphaSet → go to Account settings → tap Delete Account.
2. Confirm by email. AlphaSet sends a confirmation email to your registered address. Open it and click the link to confirm. This step keeps deletion intentional and secure, preventing accidental or unauthorized removal.

About data, subscription, and funds

• Data: once confirmed, your account data is securely removed. Some records may be retained for the minimum period required by legal/accounting obligations, then deleted.
• Remaining subscription: deleting the account does not automatically refund unused subscription time. Cancel your subscription first (see the "Cancel subscription" article) to understand how your remaining time is handled. An uncanceled subscription keeps charging — cancel before deleting.
• Your funds: they sit in your exchange account and are not affected by deleting your AlphaSet account. You retain full control of your assets on the exchange.
• Open positions: disconnecting the exchange stops the Engine from managing them — open positions stay on the exchange, and you'll need to check and manage them yourself.

Final considerations

• User-initiated: account deletion must be done by you; the support team cannot delete it on your behalf.
• Security: the email confirmation step protects your account against accidental or unauthorized deletion.

Your funds always stay on your own exchange. Deleting your AlphaSet account never touches your assets on the exchange — AlphaSet never holds your funds.
