Deposit & withdraw funds
Because AlphaSet is non-custodial, you do not deposit/withdraw through AlphaSet. All deposits and withdrawals happen inside your exchange account (BingX / Bybit / Hyperliquid) or your DNSE account. The Engine only trades on that balance.
How the Quant Engine reacts when your balance changes
- The Quant Engine reads the full balance in the connected trading wallet.
- When you deposit: the Engine recognizes the new capital and brings it under management, scaling up your portfolio according to the Alpha you're running.
- When you withdraw: the Engine sees the reduced balance and scales the portfolio down accordingly. If needed, it adjusts or closes positions to match the new balance.
- You don't need to notify AlphaSet - the system syncs automatically.
Deposit the right asset type
- Alpha Crypto (BingX): deposit into the correct trading wallet the Alpha uses (Futures wallet for Alpha Crypto). Assets sitting in another wallet (Funding/Earn) are not visible to the Engine.
- Alpha Crypto (Hyperliquid): deposit into your trading (perps) balance on Hyperliquid. Assets still in your Web3 wallet (not deposited to the exchange) or in the spot balance are not visible to the Engine.
- If you deposit in fiat and convert to crypto, make sure the final asset ends up in the right trading wallet.
- Alpha Stock VN (DNSE): fund your DNSE account as usual; the Engine trades via your trading authorization (SACO).

A note on caps
Each subscription plan has a managed-capital cap per Alpha (aggregate-per-Alpha):
- Air: $2,500 / 250M VND · Plus: $5,000 / 500M VND · Pro: $12,000 / 1.25B VND · Max: $50,000 / 2.5B VND.
If a deposit pushes one Alpha's total balance over the cap, that's fine - there's no fee. The Engine simply manages up to your plan's cap, and the excess stays in your exchange account, safe and untouched. Your dashboard shows a notice suggesting an upgrade so the Engine can manage your full balance.
This applies whatever pushes you over the cap (a deposit or market profit) - always fee-free. Want the Engine to manage the excess → upgrade your plan. See [[aum-caps-per-alpha]] and [[upgrade-downgrade-plan]].
How long does syncing take
- Balance changes are usually detected within a few minutes. In some cases it can take up to ~24 hours.
- If the Engine still hasn't seen your deposit/withdrawal after a while, check: is the asset in the right trading wallet, and is your exchange connection still valid? Still off → contact support with the time and amount of the transaction.
Funds always stay on your exchange
You deposit and withdraw directly on your exchange. AlphaSet never holds your assets, and the Quant Engine has no withdrawal permission - trade-only.
