AUM caps per Alpha
Minimum capital to run the Engine
The Engine needs enough capital to split into multiple positions, manage risk properly, and avoid hitting the exchange's minimum order sizes. Minimums per Alpha:
| Alpha | Minimum capital | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Alpha Crypto | $500 | LIVE (BingX, Bybit, Hyperliquid) |
| Alpha Stock VN | 75,000,000 VND (~$3,000), recommended from 200,000,000 VND | LIVE (DNSE) |
| Alpha Gold | $1,000 | Coming soon |
| Alpha Funding | $2,000 | Coming soon |
Below the minimum, the Engine can't guarantee the allocation and diversification it's designed for.
Maximum cap by plan
The cap is the amount of capital (AUM) your plan covers. It's counted aggregate-per-Alpha, per asset class - Crypto/Gold in USD, Stock VN in VND, never combined.
| Plan | Cap/Alpha - Crypto | Cap/Alpha - Stock VN |
|---|---|---|
| Air | $2,500 | 250M VND |
| Plus | $5,000 | 500M VND |
| Pro | $12,000 | 1.25B VND |
| Max | $50,000 | 2.5B VND |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Unlimited |
What "aggregate-per-Alpha" means:
- One Alpha running across multiple exchanges / sub-accounts → that Alpha's total capital is pooled against one cap.
- Running multiple Alphas (Pro/Max) → each Alpha has its own cap. Example: Pro running 2 different Alphas → each up to $12,000, up to $24,000 managed in total.

What if your balance is over the cap? (no fee)
The Engine manages capital up to your plan's cap for each Alpha. If an Alpha's balance is higher than the cap, the Engine trades up to the cap and the excess simply stays in your exchange account - untouched and completely safe. There is no fee on the excess.
- First integration with a balance already over the cap → it integrates fine. You only need to meet the Alpha's minimum capital; a balance over the cap is not rejected - the Engine just manages up to the cap, with no fee.
- Adding funds that push you over the cap → the Engine keeps managing up to the cap, and the newly deposited excess sits idle. The dashboard shows an upgrade suggestion. No fee.
- Market profit that pushes you over the cap → same thing: the Engine manages up to the cap, the profit excess sits idle. No fee, ever.
Want the Engine to manage your full balance → upgrade your plan (see [[upgrade-downgrade-plan]]). The higher cap applies immediately and the Engine deploys the previously-idle capital.

Keeping part of your assets aside
The Engine manages the entire balance in the trading wallet of the connected account (it reads the whole wallet, then caps the size it manages at your plan's cap). To keep some funds completely outside the Engine's reach → move them to a non-trading wallet (Funding/Earn) or a separate account/sub-account not connected to AlphaSet. See [[partial-balance]].
Frequently asked questions
Which plan should I pick for my capital? Pick a plan whose cap ≥ the per-Alpha total you expect. Large capital or multiple Alphas → Pro/Max. See the full comparison in [[plans-air-pro-max]].
Is there an absolute maximum? There's a per-plan cap, but Enterprise is unlimited for large/institutional clients - contact us for a custom contract.
